Redis is running paid social campaigns on Meta — but the conversion funnel has a critical gap between ad spend and product adoption.

What we found

We found Redis running active Instagram/Facebook campaigns targeting EMEA developers with a middle-of-funnel gated content offer. The UTM parameters tell the story:

The ad drives to a PDF download: a "Mastering Context Engineering" ebook dated October 23, 2025 — 4.5 months old. LangGraph has had multiple releases since then. The content is stale, the format is gated, and there's no clear path from the PDF to Redis Cloud signup.

The broken funnel

Here's what happens when a developer clicks that Instagram ad today:

1. Developer sees Instagram ad
2. Clicks → lands on PDF download page
3. Enters email to download (gate)
4. Gets 4.5-month-old PDF about LangGraph
5. PDF has no "Try Redis" CTA
Dead end. No signup, no trial, no conversion.

What Redis actually has (that's better)

The irony is that Redis has excellent, fresh content — they're just not promoting it. Their docs team is shipping quality work that the paid campaigns are ignoring.
